West Palm Beach Producer/Musician

Gregory Balmir, originally born in Brooklyn, NY, is a Producer/Musician from West Palm Beach, Fl. Music entered his life at a young age when his grandfather started teaching him how to play piano by ear at the age of 3. He is of Haitian and Nigerian descent raised in both N. Miami, Fl. and West Palm Beach, Fl. Classical training also started at an early age where he learned how to read music and sing chorus. He had the passion to become a Battle Dj and rapper at the age of 11.

G. Balmir then relocated to West Palm Beach Florida to attend Palm Beach Lakes High school. At the age of 15 he got his first job, which allowed him to buy equipment to DJ parties and sell mix cd's in high school. By the age of 16 he taught himself how to make beats. His prior knowledge and training in music helped him develop his original style of production. He opened his own recording studio early 2004 after teaching himself how to engineer. G. Balmir wanted to pursue his education beyond high school, so he put the music to the the side to focus on a college education. 

G.Balmir is currently a college graduate and Florida Atlantic University alumni, completing his Masters degree in business. During his "college experience" he formed a team of some old and new friends with a common interest in putting out good music professionally. G. Balmir and his team are members of an independent record label by the name of Black Label Music Group.
